We’re PASSIONATE about AI
News of the AI was born out of a love of computers and science fiction. From fictional androids and evil computers (remember HAL 9000) to the magical early days of the internet all the way through Sophia’s birth (from Hanson Robotics), Boston Dynamic’s robot developments, to today with the release of early generative AI models (OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Bard from Google and image models like Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and DALL-E), we never lost our passion or excitement for computer technology and advancements.
We had the immense fortune of growing up when computer science was really coming into it’s own (the 80s!) and the internet was a fledgling thing. We remember the potential. And while a lot can be said for the corporatization (and dare we say, the “enshittification”) of some aspects of the internet, you’ll have to pry our computers, internet, handles, and code out of cold dead hands.
